Mentor Training Underway!

Hello STEP Alliance Family :)

Guess what? We’re officially halfway through our mentor orientation and training—and wow, what a journey it’s been so far! We’ve already powered through 4 sessions (only 3 to go!) and everyone has brought something new and unexpected. Our professional team has loved every minute of connecting with this unique, diverse cohort of mentors and tutors. Seriously, we’ve met all kinds of personalities: the comedians, the deep-thinkers, the super-organized planners, and everyone in between! What really stands out is how ambitious and enthusiastic these future mentors are; they can’t wait to inspire the next generation and make a real difference.

Welcome to the New Website for The STEP Alliance !

We’re so excited to launch our official blog!

This is a space where we’ll be sharing updates, student stories, mentor highlights, and insights from our mission to make high-quality academic and life skills support accessible to all.

At The Step Alliance, we believe that a student’s zip code should never determine their potential. Since 2019, we’ve been pairing students from under-resourced communities with dedicated near-peer mentors who provide free virtual tutoring and essential life skills education.

As we continue to grow, we’re always looking to:
